SAmusicplay is a new digital streaming platform dedicated exclusively to Salvation Army music. Offering a rich and diverse listening experience for Salvationists and Christian music enthusiasts, the new service launched on Friday 3rd July at The Salvation Army’s Together '26 UK annual event, held at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre.
SAmusicplay brings together over 6,000 recordings, spanning generations of performance and devotion. Subscribers can enjoy a 30-day free trial and, thereafter, access the platform for just £4.95 per month, providing an affordable and accessible place to enjoying faith-inspired music.
The platform enables subscribers to browse, stream and create playlists from carefully curated categories: Brass, Vocal and Contemporary.
A standout feature of SAmusicplay is the Heritage recordings section, which breathes new life into historic performances. This collection enables listeners to experience much-loved 78rpm and LP recordings, many of which were produced before the advent of CDs.
Garry Smith, Director of Mission at Salvation Army Trading Company, said:
“The launch of SAmusicplay is an exciting new step to connect people with Salvation Army music across the world. It not only makes our musical recordings accessible but also provides a vibrant space for new music to flourish. We believe it will strongly resonate with Salvationists, as well as Christians more broadly who are seeking meaningful, joyful music.”
Subscribers can sign up easily online and immediately gain full access to the entire catalogue, with regular new content being added continually.

This new streaming service has been developed for Salvationist Publishing & Supplies Ltd (SP&S), a division of Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) and a wholly owned subsidiary of The Salvation Army. SP&S has been supplying Salvation Army Officers, members and supporters with mission-focused resources, from uniforms to band sheet music and much more, for over 30 years.
