Great Big Kilo Sale comes to Worcester

The Salvation Army will host its biggest ever Kilo Sale on Saturday 27th June.
Thousands of items are currently being prepped for the event, known as the Great Big Kilo Sale, which is being organised by The Salvation Army's Worcester donation centre and the Worcester church.
The event will be held at the large Salvation Army church building located at The Trinity, only a short distance from the donation centre.
Katie Bosdyk, Worcester donation centre manager, said: "We have a big team of staff and volunteers helping us to prepare thousands of items for sale. This is the biggest Kilo Sale event The Salvation Army has ever hosted in the UK and we are delighted to be working with the local Salvation Army church who are supporting us with the venue, volunteers and pop-up café on the day."
The sale will feature fashion items, for men, women and children. Most of the stock will be second hand items, but there will also be some new items available for £3 or less per kilo.
Katie adds: "We would love a big turnout from the Worcester community and beyond. Stock will be replenished throughout the event so there will be plenty for people to shop from 10am to 4pm. This is our charity's first 'Great Big' kilo Sale and we know it's going to be a fun day out. Our focus is on affordability, sustainability and community, so if you are looking for a bargain, it's a great way to shop for less and also enjoy a cup of tea and a cake at the church pop up café."
