Great Big Green Week 2026 is here!

We are joining Great Big Green week for the third year and are part of thousands of events taking place in towns, cities and villages across the country. From repair cafes and nature walks, to community clean-ups and film screenings, people everywhere are coming together for good to make a real difference.
This year the ambition of the organisers, The Climate Coalition https://www.theclimatecoalition.org, is to have 2 million people take part, making this the greenest week of the year!
Whether you organise something yourself, join something local or simply encourage a friend to get involved, every action counts.

Growing Environmental Awareness
As part of GBGW, Salvation Army Trading Company (SATCoL) colleagues are being encouraged to brush up their knowledge with two of our environmental-focused courses. All staff and volunteers have access to SATCoL's free, award-winning training delivered through The Learning Booth eLearning platform.
