For a lot of people, spring means a wardrobe refresh. We have items that we’ve either fallen out of love with or don’t feel are so stylish anymore. After setting those items free through reselling or donating to our charity shops, what do you replace them with and how can you do it affordably? We scoured the trends from fashion experts at Elle, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Who What Wear and narrowed down five trends that you could find in our shops at very affordable prices.

Polos & Shirts

Starting with the basics, every wardrobe needs staple polos and shirts. Quarter zip tops and polo knits will be the top trend of 2026 with the likes of Chanel, Dior, Ralph Lauren and other designers featuring the tops on their runways this season. Poplin shirts and turtlenecks have been used in every colour on the runways and form a great base layer to create the striking look you’re going for.

80s inspired Maximalism

Bigger shoulders, sculpted suits, chunky jewellery and bold, statement looks are set to make their way back in 2026. Pinterest's global trends and insights lead, Sydney Stanback, told Marie Claire that there’d been a rise in interest in the ‘Glamoratti’ aesthetic (baggy, sculpted shoulder suits with chunky gold cuffs and belts) as well as a 225% increase in Pinterest searches for 80s luxury. If this is your aesthetic for this year, have a look at the range of suits and jewellery in our shops, there may be some that fit perfectly!

Colour Blocking

Colours are back in this year. Modern takes on primary colours are a good way to begin creating a strong colour blocked outfit. This can be achieved through making the colours the main attractions or accents on a monochrome look. Electric blue is making a comeback and taking over the runways alongside sage green - although not a primary colour, it has featured heavily on the London Fashion Week (LFW) runways. Keep an eye out for anything in these colours at our shops and you’ll be bang on trend.

Texture, Print & Movement

Prints and patterns will be big in 2026; bold, bright, the bigger the better. 2026 is predicted to see outfits with drama through texture & movement. Faux feathers, fur and bold prints are just a few ways to bring this trend to life. If you’re unsure, start with textured accessories then incorporating it into clothing. Animal print and florals have been used by designer Khaite in their 2026 resort collection. Florals were widely used during London Fashion Week so why not dig out any floral pieces from 2016 that you still own?
