SATCoL’s 60th donation centre opens its doors to the public

Our 60th donation centre opened its doors to the public on 28th May 2025! After months of preparation and finishing touches, the team, supported by colleagues from the North region and the Clydebank Corps, cut the ribbon - ready for dozens of shoppers.

The new donation centre has proudly partnered with the local council and Clydebank Job Centre to recruit 22 volunteers for the opening day. Karina Hare, Development Support Coordinator, who has helped with the set up said: "The opening day had a real buzz of excitement from the local community with customers queueing eagerly to get inside".

Manager Billie-Jo Connolly also shared: "We have been doing great, kept busy with our new store and plenty of donations coming through the door!"

One of the team's many aspirations for the new donation centre is to make a real difference to the local community.
