SATCoL Ranked Top UK Employer

Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) has been revealed as the 21st Best Large Company to work for in the UK 2025, as announced by Best Companies Ltd.

Best Companies Ltd is a leader in their field and work with some of the world’s best-known organisations - measuring, improving and recognising great workplace engagement.

The Big Reveal 2025 event took place on Thursday 13th November, which revealed the rankings of hundreds of organisations. The results are based on the bHeard colleague engagement surveys completed by employees from across the UK. Results are independently benchmarked to reveal where companies rank in comparison to other organisations.

SATCoL also ranked as the 5th best company to work for in the charity sector, as well as ranking highly in regional listings. 739 paid SATCoL staff and 1,174 SATCoL volunteers completed the bHeard survey which measured how colleagues rate SATCoL on eight factors: Leadership, My Company, Wellbeing, Fair Deal, My Manager, My Team, Personal Growth and Giving Something Back.

As a direct result of colleague feedback, SATCoL achieved a 2 Star Outstanding Employer Accreditation from Best Companies in October 2024.

This is the first time SATCoL has partnered with Best Companies Ltd. As part of The Big Reveal, colleagues from SATCoL’s divisions and support functions were invited to share in the excitement of the Big Reveal over teas, coffees and pastries.
