New Sustainable Conversation Podcast Launches

The Salvation Army's latest Sustainable Conversation podcast launches with leading experts and influencers in the hot seat.
Series 3 of the highly acclaimed podcast, The Sustainable Conversation, builds on the success of previous series by diving further into the vital conversations around sustainability, circular fashion, and environmental stewardship - with fresh energy and insight.
This new series brings together an eclectic mix of influencers, celebrity guests, popular TV presenters, and renowned industry experts who are all passionate about creating lasting change. The audience can expect candid conversations, surprising revelations, and forward-thinking ideas.
From second-hand fashion to repair, upcycling and ethical manufacturing, this season explores the stories behind sustainable innovation and lifestyle choices. Each episode is designed to educate, inspire, and spark action; from eco-curious beginners to seasoned sustainability advocates.
Interviews with high-profile figures who helped to shape The Sustainable Conversation this series include: Sabrina Grant, an RTS award-winning TV presenter. She first captured the nation's attention as a co-host of Channel 4's award-winning documentary series Supershoppers and since then, Sabrina has brought her signature style to a wide range of hit shows, including Saved and Remade (BBC Two), Morning Live (BBC One), Luxury for Less (Channel 4), and most recently, she took centre stage in E4's Second Hand Showdown - a bold fashion competition created in partnership with Vinted.
Winnie McGee, a vintage specialist and currently the Team Lead of Brand Knowledge at Vinted, also joined the conversation to share her expertise on shopping higher prices second-hand items and extending their useful life.
Laura Puddy, fashion presenter for ITV's This Morning, and fashion stylist, leaned into shopping more sustainably by focusing on classic buys. Whilst winner of 2022 Great British Sewing Bee on the BBC, Annie Phillips (aka Made By Annie), encouraged repairs, upcycling and sewing to help reduce waste.
Other guests over the six-part series include: Crystelle Pereira, The Great British Bake Off finalist, Stuart Trevor, founder of All Saints, multi-award-winning TV presenter Nick Ede, and Olivia Cox, London-based influencer, TV host & Radio Presenter.
Plus, Salvation Army Trading Company's (SATCoL) own Environment and Sustainability Co-ordinator, Nicole Morarescu, joined the sofa with Miranda Becket, a Project Manager within the Fashion Initiative at the Ellen McArthur Foundation - working with businesses, governments and NGOs to fundamentally rethink the way products are designed, made, and used to create a resilient and thriving fashion industry.
